PLASTICASE

Creativity and Innovation Center

Context

With the desire of creating a Center of Innovation and Creativity for its marketing, design and product development teams, the company Plasticase (owner of the worldwide recognized NANUK brand plastic molded suitcases) has entrusted FRARE GALLANT with the design and construction of new offices spaces for its head office in Terrebonne.

This new 8,000 square feet center set on 2 floors holds several open-plan workspaces, areas dedicated to research and development as well as bright meeting rooms and offices with floor to ceiling windows. Areas were also specially designed for the well-being of employees, such as the gym, the bright and welcoming cafeteria, the cozy meeting and relaxation zones as well as the small and intimate reading corner.

Finally, this new center was also designed around sustainability, with, for example, the many pieces of office furniture made from recycled materials, wood and/or sustainable materials.
