Our Journey Through Time

1979

The Very Beginning

Frare Gallant was born from a collaboration between Mario Frare and Warren Gallant, following the closure of the plant that designed Kraft in Mont-Royal, where they both worked.

At that time, Kraft’s engineers encouraged the creation of this new construction company, intended to manage maintenance and construction projects.

1991

From Father to Son, a New Governance is Born

Mr. Warren Gallant decides to sell his shares to Johnny Frare. At the same time, Mr. Mario Frare hands over the presidency to Johnny to ensure continuity and foster growth. This transition is accompanied by a move to new premises located on Avenue De Valleyfield in Laval.

2013

Continuous Growth

Due to its strong growth and expansion, the company is forced to proceed with a third move to Maurice Cullen Street, still in Laval.

2020

Birth of OleaDev

Creation of OleaDev Real Estate Group, our real estate subsidiary and appointment of Mr. Terry Tsatas as president.

2021

Acquisition of Berwil Mécanique

Purchase of Berwil Mécanique, the industrial mechanical subsidiary and appointment of Mr. Daniel Boukorras as General Manager.

2022

The New Beginnings

This year is marked by the creation of a Pre-Construction department at Frare Gallant and the expansion of the OleaDev Real Estate Group division in Ontario.

2023

Always Growing

Expansion of the offices located in Laval. This expansion represents much more than a simple physical extension of our premises, it embodies our commitment to innovation, collaboration and the well-being of our teams.

2024

A Future Vision

Frare Gallant continues to grow by diversifying its business and pursuing the realization of innovative projects in related sectors.
